We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you as we prepare to embark on one of the most beautiful journeys of our lives - our wedding day.

We are getting married
After a very special engagement at home in Dublin, we will be getting married in Montespertoli, outside the city of Florence on Friday 14th of June 2024.

When & Where
Ceremony
Our ceremony will take place at 4pm sharp at the beautiful Antica Fattoria Paterno. Aperitivo and dinner to follow.
Reception
Following the ceremony, there will be time for drinks and celebrations before dinner on-site so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
Rsvp
We kindly ask you to RSVP, including any dietary requirements to Holly or Michele by 14th May 2024.
Accommodation
Unfortunately, there isn't much accommodation at the venue. However, there are endless options in the city of Florence, which you can then avail of the bus we are hosting to and from the venue on the day of the wedding (details of where the bus will be stopping are below).
Otherwise, see the map below for the location of the venue as there are a lot of local B&B's and Airbnbs if you wish to check them out, but be aware that you will need a car given that there is no public transportation to the venue.
If you are unsure if what you found is a suitable option or not, do not hesitate to contact either of us as we would be happy to help.
Transport to the Venue
The buses we have arranged for the wedding day are now full, please bear in mind as we have chosen a beautiful venue in the middle of the Tuscany countryside, public transport is unavailable. So if you are still considering transport options to the venue, please get in touch and we will do our best to assist in finding a solution.
Those who have been in touch already, we will confirm directly with you the pick up times etc.
Airports
There are a couple of different airport options.
For those travelling from Ireland, Pisa airport is the only one offering direct flights, this is around 40 minutes from the wedding venue (by car) and an hour from Florence. You can then get a bus or train to Florence city.
Otherwise, you can fly to Florence city airport if you dont mind a layover or are coming from other destinations. The airport is located conveniently next to lots of local transport options.
Gifts
As we have asked so many of you to travel to be with us for our special day, your presence is present enough. We will be honoured if you can make it on the day, so please do not feel obliged in anyway to bring anything else with you.
